Dear Mama Gaia,
That afternoon when we visited the Philae Temple of Isis in Aswan, we were shown the twelve columns of the Hathors’ faces. Some looked sadder and some looked happier. I asked you why they would feel both sadness and happiness too. You didn’t explain, but gave me this poem to ponder:
“You are not a drop in the ocean;
you are the entire ocean in a drop.”
– Rumi
I know the ocean is YOU, Mama; and I am one of these tiny raindrops that you have shown me in that dream. The dream that explained what the Flower of Life means. My heart is also certain about one other thing: If I can feel tremendous joy whenever you guide me to draw the Flower of Life drawing, you must have always felt my sadness whenever I cry. That must also be what MUNAY LOVE means, Mama. You experience everything with us on Earth, because you are always in our hearts.
LOVE,
Irene
(your dearest daughter in your heart)

p.s. The Hathor’s face shown here is not from the Philae Temple of Isis, but the Dendera Temple of Hathor. I love this one because she has a happy face.
