在港產老電影裡，常常看見這種外形笨重，顏色花花綠綠的暖水壺，其大部分都是駱駝牌的出品。源於老一輩華人認為紅色有吉祥的寓意，所以這種水壺通常都是紅色襯底的，並繪上了菊花、牡丹花等裝飾作點綴。誠然過度繽紛的配色，對現代人而言太過老派，不過駱駝牌其實也有推出過單色烤漆的款式，像上頭這兩隻小型暖水壺就是一例。
