His fame can be contributed in most part to his use of space in shops, his outstanding ability in creating specific atmospheres, as well as his observation of small detail in life. He always manages to come up with lifestyle planning ideas that never cease to surprise but carry a relaxing and natural sensation at the same time.

Freshservice is a select shop brand established by Takayuki Minami in 2003. Featuring the theme of “virtual delivery company”, it has combined green elements with low price, and to reduce opening costs, it runs mainly pop-up shops. Its selection of products ranges from fashion items to household goods, all of which are based on Takayuki Minami’s lifestyle concept. In particular, Takayuki Minami loves high-quality fashion items with simple designs. Therefore, Freshservice’s shirts and long-sleeved T-shirts feature simple and basic colors and design, and such a simplistic and natural style also defines its lifestyle tools.

Recently, Freshservice opened its pop-up shop at Goldyard, a store selling miscellaneous lifestyle goods in Hong Kong. Its integrated display area includes clothing items, accessories, stationery, storage tools and bathroom products. Well-stocked with goods of all kinds echoing the theme of lifestyle, it gives one the feeling of slipping into someone’s house.
