日本奇人特別多，藤森照信是其中一人。
原是建築史學家，44歲才半途出家成為建築師，沒有受到正統建築理論的束縛，作品更是能天馬行空。滋賀近江八幡的「ラ コリーナ近江八幡」是他的作品，外型三尖八角有如一座小山丘，好像複製了背後的八幡山。外形趣怪的小屋也有實際功能，綠化的屋頂擁有隔熱隔冷的效果，想不到環保建築也能這麼有趣。

There is no lack of extraordinary individuals in Japan, and Fujimori Terunobu is one of them. Originally a scholar in construction history, he only changed careers and became an architect at the age of 44. Without being constrained by standard architecture theories, his creations know no bounds. He has created La Collina Omi-hachiman, whose irregular appearance resembles a small hill, as if modeling on Mountain Hachiman in the background. This oddly-shaped small house has also actual functions, with its green roof serving to insulate against the heat or cold. Contrary to expectations, environmental constructions can also be so intriguing.
